Competing at international level means understanding preparation, pressure, trust and the moments around sport that matter as much as the final score.

An England powerchair footballer, marketer and disabled creative whose perspective was shaped long before a camera became part of the picture.

The perspective came first
Dylan’s experience of disability includes the transition from walking to becoming a full-time wheelchair user. It changed how the world responded to him, how access shaped everyday decisions and how quickly other people could make assumptions from the outside.
That experience now influences the work. It creates an awareness of dignity, independence, access, pressure and personality that cannot be learned from a creative brief alone.
This is not about turning disability into inspiration. It is about understanding the complete person and making images that feel honest to the people inside them.
One perspective · Three disciplines
Each part changes the way a project is understood, planned and delivered.
Competing at international level means understanding preparation, pressure, trust and the moments around sport that matter as much as the final score.
Professional marketing experience keeps the work connected to audiences, objectives and how content will actually be used after it is delivered.
Lived experience brings a sharper awareness of access, representation and the difference between documenting a community and merely looking in from outside.
Largest project to date
DJK.media was commissioned to document G5 Festival Brugge in 2024 and trusted again for 2026. The latest project moved across competition, friendship, access, atmosphere and life beyond the court through photography, film and drone content.
Dylan was not arriving as an outsider trying to understand powerchair football. He was working from inside the sport, with the knowledge to anticipate its action and the trust to recognise the quieter human story around it.

What lived experience changes
These principles shape how Dylan approaches every brief, from planning for access to recognising the moments that give a story its meaning.
Access is not background administration. It affects who participates, how comfortable people feel and whether inclusion works in practice.
Disabled people can be competitive, funny, complicated, ambitious and ordinary. The work should never flatten somebody into pity or forced inspiration.
The obvious action matters. So do the relationships, anticipation, frustration and humour that give it meaning.
Knowing when to move closer, when to wait and when not to intrude produces work that feels human rather than extracted.
Long-term partnership · Since 2024
BusinessLodge has supported Dylan’s football for the past two seasons, backing a journey that has moved through Leeds PFC, England duty and international competition.
The partnership’s second season included the WFA National Premiership title, the EE Disability FA Cup, Player of the Match and a football moment that reached more than 60 million combined views across major publisher posts and reshares.
BusinessLodge branding has travelled on Dylan’s playing chair through domestic competition, England camps at St George’s Park and major international events. It is a partnership built around sustained support, shared visibility and a story that continues to grow.
